Exhibition highlights for mobile device applications include 5.2 to 5.5-inch Full HD and WQHD smartphone displays with super high pixel density, high resolution in-cell touch technology and oTP-Lite integrated touch panel, 9 to 12.3-inch center console and cluster displays with application to cars, 1.6-inch AMOLED panel and 1.4-inch full circle AMOLED display for smart watches.

Large-sized Quantum Dot Curved LCD TV Displays Showing Image Quality Breakthrough
AUO will exhibit a complete series of 55, 65, 75 and 85-inch UHD 4K quantum dot curved LCD TV displays. Adopting the next generation quantum dot wide color gamut technology, the displays are capable of demonstrating even wider range of colors, significantly enhancing their saturation to show better image depth and vivid hues. In addition, the 4000R golden curvature and super narrow bezel designs bring forth extraordinary image quality and viewing experience.

AUO again challenges the limit of image quality by leading to reveal the ALCD (Advanced LCD) technology. ALCD technology perfectly combines UHD 4K ultra high resolution, curved design, quantum dot wide color gamut, and HDR (High Dynamic Range) technologies to provide images in exquisite details and true colors, creating the most dazzling and breathtaking scenes. AUO's 65-inch LCD TV display equipped with ALCD technology boasts the optimal 3000R curvature to deliver exceptionally immersive experience. In addition, HDR technology renders images in much more vivid details and its super slim direct LED backlight structure enables the module to be only 15mm thick, adding a touch of simplistic, modern taste with its ultra slim feature.

Innovative Display Technologies Heading Professional Display Market
For high-end desktop monitor applications, AUO presents 35-inch ultra wide curved LCD, which is currently the world's largest in size and highest in curvature(*), for desktop monitor. Its 2000R ultra high curvature, WFHD (2560 x 1080) super fine image quality, 100% sRGB wide color gamut, and 21:9 ultra wide cinema image ratio together bring an immersive, lifelike viewing experience. The display is especially suitable for image processing, data analyzing, audio-video gaming, and industrial purposes.

As displays rise to become the critical interface in every aspect of smart life, AUO proactively develops all kinds of public information displays fit for mass transportation systems, retailers and shopping centers, banks, education institutes, and museum showground. AUO's 75-inch UHD 4K ultra high resolution e-board LCD is capable of presenting much more content and sharper images and texts. Equipped with 120Hz frame rate, the display enhances the dynamic flow of image for education, professional and commercial purposes.

Large-sized, Slim & Light Mobile Device Displays Creating Amazing Smart Life
With application to mobile devices, AUO will exhibit a full series of large-sized, high resolution smartphone displays. 5.5-inch WQHD ultra high resolution LTPS display features a super high pixel density of 538 PPI. 5.2-inch Full HD wide color gamut LTPS display provides lifelike image and colors and super slim design with a narrow glass border of only 0.8mm. 5.5-inch Full HD a-Si display employs AUO's special pixel design to bring high resolution, high brightness, and low power consumption, which are currently the leading specifications achieved by a-Si technology(*).

For integrated touch solutions, AUO will showcase 5.5-inch Full HD LTPS and 5-inch HD a-Si in-cell touch panels featuring glove-friendly and spill-proof design for users to operate conveniently in all sorts of environment. For notebook PC applications, AUO's 15.6-inch oTP-Lite (On-cell Touch Panel) touch panel makes devices much slimmer without the presence of cover lens. The touch panel could also recognize up to ten touch points simultaneously. For tablet applications, 8-inch oTP portrait touch panel with high brightness and edge-to-edge design is available to offer enhanced operating and viewing experience.
